Sea Snow is a lyrical children’s picture book set on Cape Cod and invites you to come for a visit to a snug house on Sea Street with Bailey and Skye, a close-knit brother and sister, as a spinning blizzard sweeps up the coast. As the storm arrives, blown straight in from the sea, the children experience the magic of Sea Snow.

The book is a collaboration of mother-daughter writing team Leslie Lanou Bigoness and Lindsay Meade Bigoness and illustrated by award-winning watercolorist Susanne Discenza Frueh. Sea Snow is published by Lystra Books and was nominated for 2016’s Caldecott Medal and the Newbery Award. It is available in independent bookstores.
